The shooter, Robin Westman, embodied the convergence of the age’s deceptions — hatred of truth, gender confusion, and mockery of God. His pre-attack videos, which targeted Christ’s image and mocked faith, were not random expressions of madness but manifestations of the antichrist spirit that denies the Incarnation and despises divine order. This same demonic pattern runs through Scripture — from Pharaoh’s slaughter of Hebrew infants to Herod’s massacre in Bethlehem — where Satan’s wrath falls most fiercely upon the innocent.
The tragedy reveals the deeper sickness of a society that calls evil good and good evil, that glorifies rebellion as identity and desecration as freedom. When a culture rejects the Creator’s design — both biologically and spiritually — it opens itself to spiritual infestation. Political and psychological explanations cannot heal what is fundamentally a war against God’s truth. Pharaoh and Herod both slaughtered children in vain attempts to extinguish divine promise. The same spirit now animates modern violence, wrapped in the language of “identity” and “freedom.” When a generation mocks Christ and rewrites His design, it invites the thief who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. But the cross stands as God’s unshakable response: the Redeemer who was once mocked and pierced will judge the mockers and heal the wounded.
