Concern Summary: The United Nations presents itself as a neutral arbiter for peace, rights, and cooperation, but its core philosophies reject the authority of God and His Word. Founded on secular humanist ideals, the UN promotes global unity without repentance, rights without responsibility to God, and progress without truth. Agenda 2030, its flagship plan, advances gender ideology, abortion access, eco-spirituality, and moral relativism while marginalizing biblical principles. Through its interfaith partnerships and “religious tolerance” programs, the UN fosters a syncretic global religion that rejects the exclusivity of Christ and demands compromise of truth. In doing so, it mirrors the spirit of Babel—centralizing power, uniting humanity in rebellion, and paving the way for the Antichrist’s future system. This is not an institution of pure humanitarian goodwill. It is an ideological engine, framing mischief as virtue, conditioning nations to submit to universal “values” unmoored from Scripture, and creating a spiritual infrastructure for global governance that replaces God with man.

Scripture Insight: The Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:4–9) reveals humanity’s first attempt at global unity apart from God—an effort He scattered for its pride and rebellion. The UN reflects this same spirit: building a centralized system that promises peace but excludes the Prince of Peace. Proverbs 9:10 reminds us that true wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord—not in secular diplomacy or human consensus. By promoting interfaithism and moral relativism, the UN undermines John 14:6, which declares that Jesus alone is the way to the Father. Romans 1:25 warns of those who exchange the truth of God for a lie, worshiping and serving creation rather than the Creator—a trajectory evident in the UN’s eco-spirituality and environmental “rights.” 2 Thessalonians 2:7 shows that the “mystery of iniquity” is already at work—laying the groundwork for a one-world government and religion under the Antichrist. This does not mean the UN is the final Beast, but it is a precursor, preparing hearts and systems for it. Therefore, believers must heed 1 John 4:1—testing the spirits—and obey 2 Corinthians 6:17, remaining separate from unholy alliances. Our hope and allegiance are not to man-made kingdoms but to Christ’s eternal Kingdom.
